2005 Rutherford Ranch Estate Cabernet
100% Rutherford appellation Estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon. This elegant wine is a blend of our two Estate vineyards - Franklin & Abela - each with distinctive terroir. The our sub-appellation noted for it’s distinctive soil known as “Rutherford Dust”. An almost magical combination of soil and climate that results in a wine bursting with intense flavors. It’s ideal tannin structure makes it extremely accessible now or lay-down for extended aging.
Aged for 24 months in French Oak and 6 months bottled aged before release.
Only 202 cases produced.
Food Recommendations:
The concentrated flavors of this Cabernet Sauvignon are the perfect match when served with a porterhouse steak, fillet mignon or any grilled or roasted red meats.
